We had a few older students at El Centro this evening and decided to learn about our city’s civic business. With their parents’ permission, we attended the State of the City presentation – Ward 4. We enjoyed listening to Mayor Shelton and our students had the honor of meeting Councilwoman Nettie Davis and Mayoral candidate Victor Fleitas!

Tuvimos un grupo pequeno de estudianates grandecitos y decidimos aprender sobre temas civicos de nuestra ciudad. Con el permiso de sus padres, atendimos una presentacion del Estado de la Ciudad (Tupelo) – Ward 4. Escuchamos al alcalde Major Shelton y nuestros estudiantes tuvieron el gusto de conocer a Nettie Davis (oficial del ayundamiento), y al candidato de Alcalde, Victor Fleitas.
