Our kids keep working hard! If they don’t have homework, our wonderful teachers keep them busy before they are allowed to play.

Nuestros niños no se rajan y siguen trabajando duro. A los ninos que no tienen tarea, nuestros excelentes maestros los tienen ocupados por un tiempo antes de dejarlos jugar.

Most of our kids today did not have homework but they still came to El Centro to learn and play…some practiced for state tests. What a great group of hard-working kids!

La mayoría de nuestros estudiantes hoy no tuvieron tarea pero se presentaron a El Centro para aprender y divertiste…o practicar para los exámenes estatales. ¡Qué buen grupo de niños estudiosos tenemos!

We have completed our Reading Assessment for the Spring semester! Our thanks to all the kids, parents, and specially the Reading tutors & organizers. Our kids just LOVE the small groups & sessions. Our Kids will miss their tutors until we start again in June. El Centro will continue regular tutoring Tuesdays & Thursdays starting at 4 pm. We’ll see you then! And BIG thanks to AT&T for the computer lab – the assessments went so well because of it!

Hoy terminamos la Evaluacion del Grupo de Lectura! Muchisimas gracias a los ninos participantes, padres de familia, y especialmente a los tutores y organizadores del programa de Lectura. A nuestros niños les encanta participar en los pequeños grupos y extrañaran a sus maestros. Empezaremos el nuevo programa de Lectura en junio. El Centro continuara ayudando a los ninos con tarea los martes y jueves empezando a las 4 pm. Nos vemos. ¡Y muchas gracias a AT&T por las computadores!

Hoy tuvimos un gran grupo de ninos super estudiosos en El Centro.

Although several of our kids were tied up showing their artwork at the Gumtree Museum of Art, our Reading Teams still had a great turnout.

Our El Centro kids were hard at Reading & Homework again…and our teachers were strategizing for summer!

Our Reading Groups were packed and ready to go today! We had a great turnout and lots of work including regular homework! Our thanks to Allen’s hubby for the additional Tutoring help — our regular teachers had a school meeting.

Nuestros grupos de Lectura estuvieron mas completos y trabajaron durisimo hoy! Tuvimos muy buena participacion y muchisima tarea. Muchisimas gracias al esposo de Allen quien nos ayudo como tutor — ya que los maestros tuvieron junta en la escuela hoy.
